A Semi-Automated Finite-Element Ocean Model Mesh Generation Routine

News:

November 12, 2010
resolute 1.5 released.
October 31, 2003
resolute 1.3 released.

Change Log

From the abstract of the documentation:

The software package resolute generates a two dimensional finite element mesh for use in ocean modelling. This report describes a set of scripts and programs that creates a finite element mesh from a list of positions that gives the mesh boundaries and a list of random positions with depth data.

Initial Mesh Final Refined Mesh
The initial mesh created by the package based upon user-supplied boundaries and parameters. The final mesh produced by the package, refined from the initial mesh based upon user-supplied parameters.
